About the series

Why specify Calacatta Quartz?

Calacatta is the design buyers ask for by name. Each slab in this series is printed and structured so the vein flow reads as natural stone, while the 93% quartz body delivers the durability marble never could. Movement is matched batch-to-batch, so a fabricator can book-match adjacent slabs and reorder a kitchen program months later without a visible seam in tone.

Living with it

Care & maintenance

  • Wipe with mild soap and warm water — no harsh abrasives.
  • Non-porous surface needs no sealing, ever.
  • Heat resistant, but use trivets for hot cookware.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to strong solvents or high-pH cleaners.

Certified quality

Tested & documented

Calacatta Quartz carries the same certifications as our full quartz range — paperwork ships with every order.

NSF / ANSI 51

Food Equipment Materials

Our slabs are certified to NSF/ANSI 51 for use as food-contact surfaces. The non-porous resin matrix does not harbor bacteria, mold or mildew, which makes the material suitable for kitchen counters, food-prep stations and commercial catering environments.

Annual NSF audit · certificate available on request

GREENGUARD

GREENGUARD / Indoor Air Quality

Tested for low VOC emissions so the finished surface is safe for sensitive indoor environments — homes, schools, hospitals and healthcare fit-outs. Limits follow recognised indoor-air-quality thresholds for enclosed spaces.

ISO 9001

Quality Management System

Our factory operates an ISO 9001 quality management system. Every order is traceable from raw quartz lot to finished slab, with documented control points at mixing, pressing, curing, calibration and polishing.
