What is Calacatta gold quartz?
Calacatta gold quartz is engineered quartz with a white base and gold veins, made to look like Calacatta Oro marble. Auro Quartz makes gold-vein designs from fine threads to wide bands.
Which Auro Quartz gold colour has the widest veins?
Calacatta 6614 Gold and Calacatta 6822 have the widest gold veins; Calacatta 6623 Gold has the finest gold threads.
Which slab sizes are available?
Auro Quartz supplies Jumbo 3200 × 1600 mm and Standard 3000 × 1400 mm slabs, 20 mm or 30 mm thick, and makes other thicknesses to order.
Which Auro Quartz white is closest to plain white?
The near-plain group on this page shows white quartz with only faint veins. Buyers who need a fully plain white should ask Auro Quartz for actual slab photos before ordering.
Do white quartz slabs show stains?
Quartz is non-porous, so everyday spills wipe off. Strong dyes and harsh chemicals can still mark any light quartz surface if left on it.
Does Auro Quartz make black quartz with gold veins?
Yes. Calacatta 6689 is a black quartz slab with thin copper-gold veins.
Do black quartz countertops show marks?
Dark polished surfaces show fingerprints and water marks more than light ones. Buyers in markets that prefer low-maintenance tops often pair a black island with a white perimeter.
Is grey quartz the same as concrete-look quartz?
Not always. The grey-base Auro Quartz colours on this page have white veins; concrete-look quartz is usually a flat or cloudy grey without veins.
Which grey suits a warm wood kitchen?
Calacatta 6704 has a taupe-brown base that pairs with warm wood; Calacatta 6655 has a cooler mid-grey base.
How is marble-look quartz different from marble?
Marble is natural stone and needs sealing; quartz is engineered stone, non-porous and does not need sealing. Marble-look quartz copies the vein style of marble on a quartz slab.
Which Auro Quartz colour looks most like Calacatta marble?
Calacatta 6610 and Calacatta 6653 have bold grey veins on bright white, the closest to classic Calacatta marble. Calacatta 6614 Gold matches the gold-vein Calacatta Oro look.
How big is a Jumbo quartz slab?
An Auro Quartz Jumbo quartz slab is 3200 × 1600 mm (126 × 63 in), 5.12 m² per slab.
What is the difference between Jumbo and Standard slabs?
A Jumbo slab is 3200 × 1600 mm (5.12 m²); a Standard slab is 3000 × 1400 mm (4.2 m²). Jumbo slabs cover longer runs and larger islands without a seam.
Which thicknesses come in Jumbo size?
Auro Quartz supplies Jumbo slabs in 20 mm and 30 mm, and makes other thicknesses to order.
Do cream quartz slabs look yellow next to white cabinets?
A cream base can look warmer next to bright white cabinets. Cream and beige quartz suits oak, walnut, cream or greige cabinets; buyers with cool white schemes should compare the bright white colours.
Which Auro Quartz cream colour has the boldest veins?
Calacatta 6638 has wide beige veins on a cream base, and Calacatta 6635 has a dense gold-beige vein network.
What does Auro Quartz need to develop a colour?
Auro Quartz needs a physical sample or a clear photo of the colour and veins, plus the slab format and thickness you plan to order.
Which thicknesses does Auro Quartz supply?
Auro Quartz supplies 20 mm and 30 mm as standard and makes other thicknesses to order.
Which edge profiles can Auro Quartz make?
Auro Quartz sets the edge profile per order. Send the profile name or a drawing of the edge section, and Auro Quartz confirms the profile in writing before production.
